Retired Girls
All retired girls have been placed in pet homes and are not available. I keep this page so that people can see ancestors of their puppies that I have had. Some people have a bad view of breeders in general, and breeders who place their breeding dogs after they are done producing puppies are just the devil incarnate. These people feel like breeders "use them and throw them away when they can't make you money anymore". Let me say that it is never easy for us to place our retired dogs. They have been in our home and loved on for several years by the time they retire and we grow attached to every single one. That is the main reason I feel that placing them is so important when they are done. If I kept every single dog that has been kept for my breeding program, I could easily have 50+ dogs and just how well cared for and how much attention can be given to that many dogs without a full time staff? It would also require they live in a kennel situation all the time which I do not agree with. How would my breeding program progress if I kept the same 3 or 4 dogs in it for their entire lives? Each breeding is done with the hope of producing something better than the parents in every respect. They get to be a single dog or only have to compete for attention with maybe one or two other dogs instead of a dozen dogs. They get more attention than we can give. It's a "retirement" after all and should be the best years of their life where they get completely spoiled. They've earned it!
Belle Vista Janie's Got A Gun
Robison's Gretch Country Gentlewoman
Born April 15, 2011
Color: Salt & Pepper
Sire: Couper Brooklyns Baily
Dam: Rebecca Lynn V
Gretchen has a zest for life that is unsurpassed in our household. She tries SO hard to be a quiet, sit at your feet type of dog but sometimes she just can't help herself. You have no idea how difficult it is to simply walk across the room and not bound and prance with joy! She measures about 15 inches tall and weighs about 20 pounds. Gretchen has been retired.
Belle Vista Ivy Mae
Born June 6, 2013
Color: Salt & Pepper
Sire: CH. Blythewood Gun For Hire
Dam: Ada Girl Robison
Ivy is a tender and sweet soul that can get riled up but prefers the quieter side of life. She is a 3rd generation dog for me. I owned her grandmother, bred for her mother and then bred for her. She is about 14 inches tall and weighs about 16 pounds. Ivy has been retired.
Dottie is a 3rd generation dog for me. I owned her grandmother, bred for her mother and then bred for her. Dottie is about 13.25 inches tall and weighs about 15 pounds. She is quiet, submissive, gentle and sweet with people. She won't take any crap from the other dogs though! Dottie has been retired.

Born August 4, 2014
Color: Salt & Pepper
Sire: CH Blythewood Gun For Hire
Dam: Robison's Gretch Country Gentlewoman
Lucy is third generation and like her mother Gretchen, she can be a bit boisterous. She has a mountain goat's desire to be high up and likes to climb to the highest point whether it be the back of the chair or your shoulders. She LOVES people and gets a little excited when we have visitors but she's so sweet that everyone loves her. She just hits the minimum allowed height of 12 inches high and weighs about 14 pounds. Lucy retired in 2018

Lively and energetic, all this girl wants is love. She romps through the house if there isn't anything better to do but she'd rather be snuggling on the couch getting good scratches.

Mild and loving with a submissive disposition. A quiet cuttlebug that is not pushy or demanding but will take all the love you want to give her. 12.5" tall and 16 pounds but she seems bigger when you see her in person.

Great Mate Treat To Behold
"Tira"
Born May 9, 2018
Color: Salt & Pepper
Sire: Tornado-shiv Chin-chin
Dam: CH Top Target Apriori Nika
Tira was imported from the Ukraine when she was 10 months old and came with a Ukrainian Junior Championship title. She's very sweet with "her people" but not quick to welcome strangers into her home. She follows suit well with the other dogs and once she sees the other dogs are happy to see you she gets right in the mix to make sure she gets her share of the attention. Thankfully her puppies have proven to lack her "stranger danger" and have turned out excellent.

A bit more bouncy like her dad and a busy body. She only chills out for snuggles and as soon as you stop petting her she's off again. Short and stout, she's 12 1/4" tall and about 14-15 pounds.
