All breeding dogs must pass an auscultation test with a board certified Veterinary Cardiologist as well as annual eye exams with a board certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist before being used in our breeding program. Males are all tested via Embark for testable disease markers, PennGen for MAC, and Wisdom Panel for PRA-B

Gunner was bred and handled by Joan Huber of Blythewood Kennel in eastern Pennsylvania. Gunner had four 3 point majors by the time he was 7 months old. He came home to be a puppy for a few months and then went back to Joan to prepare for the Montgomery County specialty show. He was shown there in the open dog class a couple weeks before he turned a year old and placed 3rd against the top mature dogs in the ring. Gunner finished his champion title the weekend before his one year birthday at the Mt. Vernon specialty with a 4 point major win.
Gunner is the "Golden Child" here at BVS. He is loving and cuddly without a dominant bone in his body and gets along with everyone. His looks and temperament are the epitome of my goals. He stands right at 13.5" tall and is 16.5 pounds at his optimal weight.
