“Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.” – Henry Ford
All breeding dogs must pass an auscultation test with a board certified Veterinary Cardiologist as well as annual eye exams with a board certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist before being used in our breeding program. Males are not used for breeding until they are at least a year old. Males can be used for breeding up until they are 12 years old but typically retire sooner than that.

Gunner was bred and handled by Joan Huber of Blythewood Kennel in eastern Pennsylvania. Gunner had four 3 point majors by the time he was 7 months old. He came home to be a puppy for a few months and then went back to Joan to prepare for the Montgomery County specialty show. He was shown there in the open dog class a couple weeks before he turned a year old and placed 3rd against the top mature dogs in the ring. Gunner finished his champion title the weekend before his one year birthday at the Mt. Vernon specialty with a 4 point major win.
He is loving and cuddly without a dominant bone in his body and gets along with everyone. He stands right at 13.5" tall and is 16.5 pounds at his optimal weight. Bile acid results were elevated but not indicative of a shunt. He should only be bred to bitches with normal bile acid results.

Stanley was bred and born in the Ukraine and was imported at 4 months of age. Both parents and a full sister are all Ukrainian Champions.
He is loving and friendly with an energetic and bouncy zest for life that is just adorable and tends to transfer to his puppies. Stanley stands right at a solid and robust 13 7/8" tall and about 19 pounds. He is super loving but is pretty energetic and can be a bit intense when he is really focused on something (usually Girls!). If I were into agility, he would be fabulous. He is black and silver but does have a gray undercoat so when you meet him in person he is not a rich black body color. These pics were taken in a show coat that kept his color but he has since been shaved so is lighter.

Cash stops people in their tracks with his handsome good looks. Everyone comments on him and I'm not sure if it's his demanding stature or that he's been the only solid black dog in the pack for the last couple years. Whatever the reason, he stands out in the crowd. He did go a little over size for the breed standard being 14 1/4" tall and roughly 21 pounds. However, he brings a nice conglomeration of pedigrees I've been working, along with a beautiful head, that nice black color, sound conformation, and an outstanding temperament. He's not an overly aggressive dog being relatively calm for an active stud and is very mild with people. His mother and her father were both quite small at 12 3/4" and 13" so he can produce smaller puppies.

Noodle is a character. He's less "noodley" as he matures but he loves to play fetch and will still relax and take his belly rubs. He's my talker that likes to "woo" for attention and occasionally starts a group howl which I do not find endearing! :-D Right at 14" tall and starting to look like a stud and less like a puppy.

Gator is an exceptional representation of the breed and finished his AKC championship in 2 weekends of showing with one 2 point placement, three 3 point major placements, and one 4 point major placement. He is going on for his Grand Champion title and will be shown at Montgomery County in 2021. He already has several litters on the ground, all of which have show prospects that will be in the ring by the end of the year. Grandpa Gunner is very proud of him!
